In our „Good Morning from …“ series we present you our favourite breakfast spots from all around the world, so that you are perfectly prepared for your next trip. This time, we would like to introduce you to two lovely cafes that have everything you need for a perfect breakfast in Birmingham.
The Lewis’s is a charming little cafe, located in the quaint Moseley neighbourhood. If you don’t already know, we have a great tip for all “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” fans at this point: The Local Nature Reserve Moseley Bog is famous for inspiring J. R. Tolkien, who lived nearby as a kid, for the ancient forests in his books.
So, if you don’t wanna miss that, and would like to enjoy a delicious meal in a cool, relaxed atmosphere beforehand or afterwards, you should definitely swing by the Lewis’s.
Amazing coffee, wonderful avocado toast, various cakes and an great menu in general (also suitable for vegetarians and vegans!) await you there.

The Yorks is located in the Birmingham City Centre, very close to the main railway station New Street Station. The „shabby chic“ interior, the lighting and the background music create an incredibly comfortable mood and definitely invite you to linger and maybe get a second or third round of breakfast.
Besides, the menu is extremely varied and offers a great choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well.
